Tanzania clubfoot care organization (TCCO) is hiring a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator.

DESCRIPTION:

TCCO is an NGO whose vision is ‘a Tanzania free of clubfoot disability’.

TCCO’s Mission:
As a coalition of providers and organizations committed to a Tanzania without clubfoot disability TCCO facilitates the treatment, training of providers, education of parents and communities and advocates so that children with clubfoot can have quality and timely care. An estimated 2800 babies in Tanzania are born with clubfoot each year. To address the needs of these children TCCO is supporting existing clubfoot clinics in government and mission hospitals all over Tanzania so that such children have access to timely and quality clubfoot treatment.

Job Description

  • The M & E and Learning Coordinator will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the quality of treatment provided in the clinics by analyzing and interpreting the data in Salesforce and guiding the Zonal Coordinators and clinics to make informed decisions for improvement.

  • The M & E and Learning Coordinator have the responsibility of ensuring that all planned trainings are coordinated in the zones.

  • Shall work with zonal technical coordinators to improve KPIs.

  • Shall develop and supervise M & E plan for TCCO.

  • Shall prepare quarterly and annual technical reports.

  • Shall be responsible for supportive supervision in collaboration with Zonal Coordinators.

  • Shall also be the Technical Coordinator for the Coast zone.

  • Shall carry out other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

 REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience of at least 1 year in Monitoring and Evaluation with coordination of health care training is an added advantage.

  • A degree in the medical field e.g. Doctor of Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Monitoring and Evaluation Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Having undergone Basic and or Advanced ACT Ponseti training and practice would be an advantage.

  • Should have strong project management skills.

  • Experience managing and motivating a team preferred, with demonstrated success in

    cultivating a positive, empowering environment for team members

  • Should have superior analytical skills, the ability to think logically and rationally about problems and solution-oriented

  • Must be able to handle complex priorities, collaborate effectively with a team, be persistent and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and spoken Kiswahili and English languages.

  • Good training and mentoring skills.

  • Report writing skills and Computer literacy

  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with people of varying socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

  • Willingness to travel upcountry up to 30% of the time.
